Glenn pops the question to Grace
WILL GRACE AGREE TO BECOME HIS WIFE?
Grace has a huge decision to make this week, as Glenn asks her to marry him – right after she accuses him of having an affair!
It’s no wonder Grace is suspicious of Glenn’s actions, given that he spent the night with Cindy and then threw it in her face. And it turns out the fans aren’t impressed, either…
“The viewers hate this relationship – everyone on Twitter wants Grace to get rid of Glenn!” laughs Tamara Wall, who plays her. “It’s so horrible to see her with such a mentally abusive man, and some of the scenes have been hard to film. I want to stamp my foot and go, ‘No! Why is she doing this?’”
Even Grace’s best friend Esther can see what a monster Glenn is – so when Grace asks for help in spying on him, Esther jumps at the chance to prove that Glenn is a wrong’un.
“Grace hears a few weird phone calls and decides to find out exactly what Glenn is up to,” Tamara tells us. “She asks her best friend to help her out – and Esther is happy to get involved. She thinks that if they find out he’s with another woman, Grace will dump Glenn. But it all goes horribly wrong.”
After spotting Glenn in cahoots with Granny Campbell, Grace jumps to the conclusion that she’s his mystery woman! And she’s outraged that he’s traded her in for someone who’s not even a younger model…
“Those scenes were so funny to film, because Grace is in disguise – and the way she’s dressed is not subtle on any level!” chuckles Tamara. “When she sees Glenn with Granny Campbell, though, she just thinks, ‘Oh wow, am I really so bad that he’s having an affair with a granny?’”
Sadly, things get worse for poor Grace. Hoping to catch Glenn in the act with his mystery woman, she storms round to the Folly to confront

him – only to discover that he’s set up a romantic surprise for her, and is about to propose!
“Grace thought that Glenn had been buying jewellery for his mystery woman, but it turns out it was a ring for her,” sighs Tamara. “At this point Grace feels very stupid, and she’s in that same position where she has to apologise to Glenn.”
The surprise may be ruined, but Grace is still desperate to become Mrs Donovan. However, Glenn’s proposal comes with a condition, as he makes it clear that there’ll have to be changes if she’s to become his wife.
So, will Grace agree to Glenn’s outlandish terms? Or will she finally realise that he’s trying to control her, and give him the elbow for good?
