Actress Shelley Longworth picks her dream viewing… I loved
The Night Manager and Poldark, but The Crown is the one that has really been doing it for me. Claire Foy and Matt Smith are incredible – I always feel like a fly on the wall watching the Queen and Philip.
The Last Man On Earth is superb, I think it’s so funny. It’s set after a deadly virus has wiped out most of humanity – and I love that it’s not just dealing with the fact that they don’t have doctors if anyone gets ill, it’s the fact that they can walk into Cher’s house and try on all her costumes! It’s wacky and brilliant, but with a dark edge.
I really enjoy Masterchef, especially Masterchef: The Professionals, and I love The Voice UK too.
I think that’s such a great show, I am absolutely riveted by it. They always get a great panel – Olly Murs is doing really well, and Jennifer Hudson is amazing.
If I could be on any other show, I’d love to be on Call The Midwife. Cast me as a midwife, as a mum or a nun – I don’t care! It’s a great series, I get my hanky out ready before watching it.
I love the film 9 To 5, I used to watch that on a loop growing up. I sing the title song in Benidorm karaoke quite a lot, it’s one of my go-to numbers that I keep up my sleeve! And Nil By Mouth is a fabulous film – Kathy Burke is incredible in it.
