Eva needs help from Toyah to keep her secret pregnancy under wraps this week, when the return of ex-boyfriend Adam throws Eva off her game.
As she attempts to keep him at bay, both she and Toyah must work harder to prevent him and their curious sister Leanne from realising that Eva is expecting…
“The first challenge for Eva is Adam showing up on the cobbles – she didn’t think he’d be home from his travels so soon,” explains our Coronation Street spy. “He went in a huff after
Eva called off their romance – but despite that, it turns out that Adam hopes they might get back together.”
It’s a tough call for Eva, who knows there can be no future for her and Adam when she’s pregnant with Aidan’s baby, and secretly plotting for Toyah to adopt the child. So can she manage to keep her dishy ex at arm’s length?
Meanwhile, straighttalking Leanne remarks on the amount of food Eva’s been scoffing. Toyah is quick to claim that Eva is comfort eating after her split from Adam – and that lie only brings more hassle…
“Clearly concerned that Eva needs to watch her weight, Leanne invites her to an exercise class!” giggles our source. “That’s the last thing Eva needs, of course – so Eva and Toyah have to come up with a credible excuse about why she can’t go.”
As the panicked pair fib about starting a language course on the same night, it’s clear Eva won’t be able to keep her secret forever…
