Why has Ellie agreed to give Sami another shot?
I think she still just really fancies him! She never wanted to break up with Sami, but she had to because of all the drama with James. She really wants him to do the right thing and be a good guy so she can go out with him again.
Would you forgive Sami if you were in Ellie’s shoes?
I personally think Sami should make a bit more of an effort! But Ellie doesn’t have all the facts. She’s been through so much, and she just wants to have a normal relationship… though maybe she’s secretly attracted to the drama!
You’ve lost a lot of the Nightingale family lately – what’s that been like?
You can’t stand too close to a window if you’re a Nightingale – because you might fall out! The family have always been really close both on and off screen, so I do miss the people who’ve gone.
What’s it like having Lysette Anthony, aka Marnie, as your screen mum?
It’s great – we have a lot of fun. I wouldn’t say she’s like a mum in real life, more like a great friend.
She gives me loads of advice, most of which I don’t listen to! I think I give her pretty good advice, too, but I’m not sure she listens to me, either.
What feedback did you have from fans about Ellie pushing Mac out of the window?
The audience response was overwhelmingly positive, but I did get a few people saying that Ellie should be punished for what she did to ‘poor’ Mac
– I don’t think they quite understood the storyline! Someone has actually created a Twitter account for Mac Nightingale, and they keep tweeting me saying, “I’m coming to get you!” – it’s a little bit scary!
