Keegan’s dad turns up in Walford
KAREN’S EX TURNS UP – BUT KEANU IS THE ONE WHO’S IN FOR A SHOCK…
There’s drama for the Taylors this week, after Keegan’s dad Mitch hits the Square. However, as man of the house Keanu steps up to protect his clan, he’s in for a bombshell revelation of his own!
It’s been a while since Karen laid eyes on her former lover, and when Mitch pays a visit to the garage, Keanu is keen to get rid of him. But little does he know what’s in store for him…
“Mitch turns up at the Arches on Keanu’s first day working there,” reveals our Walford snitch. “So the poor lad is thrown right off his game when his mum’s ex-boyfriend arrives and asks for his car to be worked on. Mechanical expertise isn’t all Mitch is after, either, as he fishes for info on Karen and Keegan – but Keanu is giving nothing away!”
Once Keanu has fixed Mitch’s motor, he’s quick to send him on his way. However, in his rush Keanu forgets to take payment – giving Mitch the perfect excuse to stick around.
“The Taylors are celebrating Keanu’s new job at home later on,” says our sneak. “Keanu keeps shtum about Mitch – but the secret is out once he turns up on the doorstep with the cash he owes the garage.”
Keanu is appalled to see Keegan’s dad again, and the red mist descends. There’s no holding him back as he punches the unwanted visitor – bringing Karen and Keegan racing to the door. The pair are speechless, and as Keanu packs off Mitch, he insists that’s an end to it. Mitch just won’t give up, though…

Karen can’t resist his flirty banter and impromptu strip routine, so she ends up inviting him back for dinner! Keanu and Keegan kick him out on his ear – only for Karen to sneak Mitch back in that night.” All hell breaks loose after the boys discover Karen’s ruse – but even as Mitch insists that he just wants to help, Keanu refuses to give way. However, little does the lad realise that his own life and happiness are about to be shattered, as Karen’s former partner questions why she’s never told Keanu about his father…
“Whatever Mitch knows, Karen has been keeping it buried for a long time – but this chat with Mitch makes her decide it’s time Keanu knew the truth,” sighs our informant. “When she tries to sit him down, though, he storms off to stay at Jay’s. So the secret looks set to stay that way – until Keegan overhears Mitch and Karen discussing it.”
Knocked for six by what he knows, Keegan meets Mitch to grill him for more information. But will Keegan decide to share what he’s discovered with his oblivious brother?
