Worried Summer searches for Billy
SHE’S IN BAD TROUBLE – AND SO IS HE…
Drug-addled Billy resorts to stealing from his friends this week – only to be caught red-handed by Peter! But that’s not his only worry, as his adoptive daughter Summer and her mate Amy are looking for him – and in serious trouble themselves.
After his altercation with Peter, Billy winds up at the cop shop, where it’s down to lawyer Adam to save his skin. But will Billy accept his help? And will anyone come to stricken Summer’s rescue?
“Billy’s drug addiction has already torn him and his family to pieces, and he’s desperate to get clean,” sighs our Street spy. “Now he’s stooped as low as robbing his loved ones, though, Adam could turn out to be the only pal Billy has left.”
Billy’s return to the cobbles comes as he’s spotted by Peter thieving money from Eileen’s kitchen. But when he legs it, Peter and Eileen agree to keep his return a secret from Summer. Consequently, the oblivious lass ropes in Amy to go searching for him herself – and soon the youngsters are in terrible danger.
“Summer and Amy meet a homeless man who claims to know where Billy is,” reveals our informant. “But he also knows how vulnerable these young girls are, and has no intention of helping them. After convincing Summer and Amy to follow him, he leads them down an alleyway – and turns on the defenceless youngsters and tries to steal from them…”
Meanwhile, Billy is at the police station – and after making a phone call, he waits to be grilled by the boys in blue. But when the door to the interview room opens, Adam walks in and declares he is Billy’s lawyer! Seeing Billy in a dreadful state, Adam is finally driven to admit that he knows all about Billy’s role in his mum Susan’s death – and he was the one who got him hooked on painkillers in the first place.
