Three’s a crowd

The contest moves forward another stage tonight, as we progress to the Knockout rounds. This is the part where the coaches have some tough decisions to make: in each of the two Knockout episodes, three acts from each team will perform for their mentors, and the coach only has the power to advance one of them into the live semi-finals in two weeks’ time. That means they’ll all be saying goodbye to twice as many acts as they’ll be saving – stirring up lots of emotion.

Fortunately, each mentor has guest advisers to help them out. Olly has Craig David, Will has fellow Black Eyed Peas apl.de.ap and Taboo, Jennifer has Leona Lewis and last year’s winner Mo Jamil, and Tom has none other than Kylie Minogue!
