Robbo returns to Summer Bay

- Sarah Ellis

Leah uses the situation to her advantage this week – and tries to blackmail her dad into letting her skip school! At his wits’ end over her behaviour, Ste calls in a favour from DS Geoff Thorpe in an attempt to keep his daughter on the straight and narrow.

“Leah’s life has been so out of control, so she’s using this information to take charge,” explains Elá-may. “She is also trying to punish her dad for lying to her. “Uncle Geoff takes her into the station to give her a little scare, and hopefully put an end to the bad behaviour,” adds the star. “But Leah is too clever for him!” In fact, her trip to the cop shop gives Leah an idea of how she could lure her Daddy Ryry back home, after he did a runner recently. You’ll have to wait and see if her attempts are successful – but Elá-may certainly hopes so, as she adores working with Blue star Duncan James (aka Ryan).

“I love both Duncan and Kieron [Richardson, who plays Ste] so much!” she grins. “Duncan is definitely the naughty one – Kieron is always very professional. He has helped me so much growing up, and I know that

I can turn to him for anything.”

Being in Hollyoaks from such a young age has given Elá-may the acting bug, and she hopes to continue performing when she’s older. She also would love to work with other actors on the show… “Grace is one of my favourite characters,” reveals the youngster, who first appeared as Leah in 2011. “I had a scene with Tamara Wall once, but there were so many people in it that I didn’t get to do anything with her. I would also love to do something with Gregory Finnegan [aka] James, as I think he’s fantastic. But really I just feel lucky that I get to do a job that I love!”
