Ryan returns to the village for Amy’s memorial. Can you talk us through it?
Leela finds out that Ste and Ryan have been having an affair, and basically outs them in front of everyone! This is Ryan’s worst nightmare, because he’s killed to keep this secret safe – and it’s all been for nothing.
He also discovers that Tegan is due to be woken up!
That’s when he really starts to panic, because up until that point he thinks he’s got away with it all scot-free. So when he learns that they’re bringing Tegan out of her coma, he’s very worried. He doesn’t want that to happen, so it’s a case of what he’ll do to make her keep her mouth shut…
Exactly how far will Ryan go to keep his secrets buried?
He’s got himself into a massive hole, and all he can do is keep digging!
It’s an interesting ride for Ryan over the next few months – I’ve been very happy with the way it’s been written. There’s so much more to tell, and it climaxes in a great way.
What reaction have you had from Hollyoaks viewers?
Even though Ryan’s a bad guy, people are still crazy about him – they love a baddy! I’m starting to realise just how dedicated the Hollyoaks fans are. It’s lovely.
Are you looking forward to Ryan being found out?
Of course, because Ryan has hurt innocent people. But I wouldn’t put it past him to kill again…
