Stevenage builders Lee and Dean (played by the show’s creators Miles Chapman and Mark O’sullivan) have been inseparable since childhood – until now. Lee’s new girlfriend Nikki has changed everything, and Dean’s not handling it well.

“It’s a bit of a bromance between them,” Mark tells Inside TV. “But as the series goes on, you realise it means more to Dean than either of them have realised.”

So while the pair initially seem like your average blokes next door, they gradually reveal some hidden depths that will be explored across the comedy’s five episodes.

“I think their journey is quite universal,” shares Miles. “I’m hoping people will see them and go ‘I’ve done that’!”
