VET CHAOS COULD COST VANESSA HER CAREER…
Petrified Vanessa faces the prospect of being struck off as a vet, after a make-or-break inspection at the village practice goes disastrously wrong!
Vanessa has found herself under intense scrutiny ever since troublesome teens Gabby and Liv stole a vial of ketamine from her bag – before using the powerful substance to spike a drink in the Woolpack.
As a result this week, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons decides to send a representative to assess Vanessa, just as she and Paddy realise one of their patients – a snake named Voldemort – has escaped and is on the loose!
While Paddy searches for the slippery fella, Vanessa nervously tries to answer visitor Martin’s questions. However, there’s a glimmer of hope when Paddy emerges and Martin recognises him, revealing that they are old university friends – and the thrilled pair pose for a photo.
However, at that particular moment,
Vanessa spies
Voldemort slithering towards
Martin – so she lunges for the serpent and tries to make a grab for him! Initially it seems Martin is furious, but then he begins to laugh and suggests that a word in the right ear may be all that it takes to save Vanessa from a suspension. But will Martin continue to see the funny side of Voldemort’s great escape? Or is the incident enough to convince him that Vanessa ought to be suspended from her duties with immediate effect?
