Shane & Simone getting steamy?
THINGS ARE HEATING UP FOR THE PAIR…
Odd couple Shane and Simone can’t resist flirting this week, and Shane is touched when Simone makes him a very unexpected offer. But will his dodgy dealings wreck this budding romance?
“Shane is growing quite close to Simone at the moment, and they’re enjoying each other’s company,” confides actor Michael Salami, who plays him. “And it just gets very saucy very quickly – Shane doesn’t hold back!”
That sauciness is a welcome distraction for Shane, who can’t quite escape his past. He still owes nasty Glenn Donovan a debt for the drugs he lost – and the crooked builder is determined to keep Shane under his thumb, so orders him to collect a drugs delivery from the club. Obviously Simone is less than impressed by this, but she soon learns more about her new beau when cocky Shane opens up about his troubled past and Glenn’s control over him. And all this prompts her to make a surprising offer: she’ll pay off his debt and set him free!
“Shane is shocked,” Michael tells us. “It’s probably the first time someone’s come to him very genuinely and wanted to help him change his life.”
Shane is torn between his old life and the new opportunities offered by Simone – but could this mismatched pair have a happy future together? Michael believes they could.
“I think she keeps Shane on the straight and narrow, and she’s helping him reform his life,” muses the actor. “I feel like he needs Simone as much as she needs him.”

Of course, Glenn isn’t going to let go of one of his minions just like that, and he’s a dangerous man to mess with. Simone is no pushover, though, and having an experienced lawyer like her to hand could be just what Shane needs in his efforts to turn his life around. And as events take a more dramatic turn later in the week, one thing is for sure – life won’t be dull in the village’s newest romance…
