ROBYN ROBBED

-

It was so nice to see Robyn finally get her happy ever after as she married Glen in Casualty, but at the same time it was heartbreaking to watch, as I knew Glen’s days were numbered. The thing I love about Robyn and Glen is that they’re just such a normal couple

– so I don’t know how Robyn is going to cope without him. | Ava I cried my eyes out watching Glen’s death on Saturday night. Blub! I cracked up with laughter at the episode where Kat ‘returned from the grave’. Jean’s comments in particular were hilarious, when she said to Ian, “You can ask her when you put the biscuits back in the cupboard!” We need more humour like this rather than all doom and gloom.

The return of the Slaters showed exactly what Eastenders has been lacking over the past few months – some good old-fashioned fun. Although the whole saga involving Kat’s fake death was more than a little farfetched, it’s great to see girl power back at the heart of the Square. Long may it continue!

No matter what storyline she is involved in, Jessie Wallace just lights up the screen as Kat. Her return to Walford has actually made Eastenders watchable for the first time in months. What the writers need to do is pair her up with Karen – or ‘Waynetta’, as Kat calls her – and let the pair of them loose on the Square!

But for some of you, even Queen Kat isn’t enough to keep you tuning in…

Kat’s return was so brilliant, but now we’re back to the humdrum of Bernie and Ted and their boring chess story! Why are the show’s bosses getting it so wrong right now? The powers-that-be need to drop this nonsense before they lose all their viewers for good.

If Kat can’t save Eastenders, then surely nobody can!
