Kat misses her three little boys
AS SHE COOS OVER LITTLE HARLEY, WHERE ARE HER OWN BUNDLES OF JOY?
“It’s clear how much Kat is missing her children!”
The questions surrounding Kat intensify this week, as Stacey and Mo conspire to find out what’s really going on with her.
Ever since Kat returned to Albert Square a few weeks ago, the mysteries have been mounting. Where are Alfie and their three children? What really happened in Spain? And why is Kat so reluctant to talk about any of it?
Things start to look even more dubious when Kat bumps into Masood’s Uncle Arshad, who is walking with baby Harley in the Square.
“Spotting little Harley brings out Kat’s maternal instincts,” our Walford mole tells us.
“He’s such a cutie that Kat can’t help but stop and gawp at him. She starts to fondly talk about her own children, and it’s perfectly clear how much she’s missing them all.”
The exchange is spotted by eagle-eyed Stacey, who instantly becomes suspicious. After all, why can’t Kat just go and visit her kids if she’s missing them so much?
“There’s not an awful lot that gets past Stacey, and there’s something about this whole situation that doesn’t add up,” reasons our snoop. “She starts to cross-examine Kat, who evasively fobs her off
– but that just makes Stacey even more convinced that Kat has something to hide, and she’s determined to find out what it is.”
With no one else to turn to for help, Stacey is forced to speak to Mo about her concerns.
“Although Mo is preoccupied with her own moneymaking schemes, even she is forced to admit there’s something very odd about Kat’s cagey behaviour,” says our snitch. “Stacey and Mo then cook up a plan to try to get Kat and her kids back together.”
Stacey tries to get in touch with Alfie, to see if he can shed any light on the matter, but it transpires that Kat hasn’t been in touch with her husband for weeks. Armed with this knowledge,
Stacey goes back
to Kat – and this time she demands some answers.
“Stacey wants to know why Kat is ignoring Alfie, but of course this just makes Kat clam up even more,” sighs our spy. “She quickly works out that Stace has been trying to contact Alfie behind her back, and she flies off the handle. It’s a classic Slater bust-up! So what is Kat hiding?”
Later on, once the pair have managed to calm down a bit, they have a heart-to-heart. Stacey’s mind is then put at rest when she overhears Kat making plans to see the three children. But as Kat heads off to meet the kids, and calls Stacey to let her know that she’s taking them to the cinema, is everything as it seems – or is it just another piece of subterfuge to throw Stacey off the scent?
