AS DISASTER STRIKES JUDE, HIS WIFE TURNS TO ADAM…
Angie’s world is rocked by her hapless hubby Jude this week – pushing her into the arms of sexy solicitor Adam!
Desperate to maintain his big fib that he’s a qualified marine biologist – whereas actually he works in the aquarium’s gift shop – Jude and his mum Mary concoct a bonkers plot to throw Angie off the scent. But when it all goes wrong, appalled Angie throws herself at Adam, and her marriage looks set to crumble…
“This is Jude’s worst nightmare come true,” sighs our Weatherfield snitch. “Angie has no idea that he’s been lying to her over their entire relationship. How he and Mary think they’ll get away with this mad plan is anyone’s guess – and it could mean curtains for Jude and Angie’s marriage.”
The chaos kicks off after Angie shows up at the Marine Life Centre unexpectedly, prompting panicked Jude to set off the fire alarm. As the place is evacuated, he changes out of his gift shop uniform and finds Angie outside – but when he learns that she’s there to confront his bullying work colleagues Philippa and Seth, Jude claims that they’re coming to dinner to sort things!
After Jude tells his mum what he’s done, she devises a typically hare-brained plan to fix the predicament – yet only succeeds in achieving the opposite. Meanwhile, Seth and Philippa witnessed Jude setting off the fire alarm via the marine centre’s CCTV – and summarily sack him!
But there’s even worse to come back on the cobbles. Once Mary’s scheme dissolves into disarray, Jude is left more desperate than ever – and, infuriated by the disastrous turn of events, Angie pours her heart out to Adam.

Following an evening of warm chat with Adam, Angie is forced to return home and face Jude, and the strained atmosphere is unbearable. So when Adam offers her more freelance accountancy work, Angie is quick to accept – but will the pair be tempted to mix business with pleasure?
