Mel & Jack give in to passion!

THE RANDY PAIR GET IT ON IN THE MIDDLE OF A ROW…

- Tom Spilsbury

Mel and Jack get hot and sweaty with each other this week, as their simmering passion finally boils over into lust!

Jack has been hovering around Mel ever since she arrived back in Walford, but even though it’s clear that she fancies him too, she’s prioritised the welfare of her son Hunter and her new business, rather than think about romance. However, things are about to heat up big time – and it’s all thanks to a bust-up in E20…

“Oddly enough, it’s Billy Mitchell who inadvertently brings Mel and Jack together,” reveals our Albert Square insider. “Yet again, he messes things up at work, causing

Mel to have a major go at him. However, her fury is witnessed by Jack, who is stunned by Mel’s outburst. Sure, Billy might have stuffed up, but it’s not a total disaster – and it is his birthday after all!

“Jack thinks that Mel needs to cool down a bit – which is quite ironic, given the events that are about to take place!”

Once she’s composed herself, Mel feels bad about the way that she’s treated

Billy, and decides to host a surprise birthday party for him. She even plays matchmaker by inviting his wife Honey along, since she knows that Billy is desperate to get back together with her.

“Mel’s intentions are good, but the plan backfires,” shares our source. “Honey doesn’t want to repair her marriage to Billy, and Billy is hardly impressed either. He’s furious about Mel’s intervention, and fears it might have made things worse – so he tears a strip off Mel at the party! That doesn’t go down well…”

Once again Jack witnesses the fiery exchange, and this time he decides to stick his own oar in. Mel storms off following Billy’s outburst, but Jack goes after her to confront her about her interfering ways.

“Jack doesn’t really give a monkey’s about Billy’s feelings – but he does care about Honey’s,” reasons our spy.

“So when he sees that Mel has messed things up for the couple, he tries to persuade her to go and apologise to Honey. However, Mel doesn’t take kindly to being told what to do by anyone, and she’s certainly not in the mood to take any advice from this guy she still barely knows!”

Jack thinks Mel needs to calm down – which is ironic!”

As the quarrelsome pair trade insults, things start to get a bit more physical – and moments later they’re ripping at each other’s clothes and in a passionate clinch! As they end up spending the night together, is this the start of the sizzling romance that Jack’s been hoping for, or is it just a one-night stand that Mel will regret in the morning?
