Adam gets sexy with Roxy!
HE CHEATS ON MAXINE WITH ROXY…
Adam proves that he’s every bit as ruthless as his dad Glenn this week – when he ends up sleeping with DS Roxy Cassidy!
The Donovan lad has been working with the detective to bring down his gangster father – but after he loses his temper in the pub and punches Darren, Roxy is forced to arrest him! However, rather than taking him to the station, she leads him to a secluded spot where the pair soon find themselves getting hot and heavy…
“They sleep with each other in the back of her car – it’s shocking!” exclaims Jimmy Essex, who plays Adam. “Things have started to get incredibly tense between Adam and Roxy, so Adam immediately regrets his actions. He loves Maxine, and he knows that this could destroy their relationship.”
Adam’s missus is already beginning to get suspicious about her other half’s shady behaviour – his moods are all over the place and he keeps disappearing. Things get worse this week, after Adam experiences flashbacks to a robbery he was involved in with Glenn. That’s when the pressure gets too much, and he takes his anger out on Darren – so how much longer can Adam keep this up?
“Adam is really feeling the stress at the moment,” admits Jimmy. “He is an honest guy, so all this lying is really catching up with him. That said, I was very surprised at how much Adam enjoyed the buzz of the robbery – he even calls it his best day at work ever! Adam is slipping more and more into the role of Glenn’s right-hand man, and he’s actually enjoying it.”
So could Adam finally be turning to the dark side? It would certainly seem so, as

he arrives home from his bunk-up with Roxy cool as a cucumber, and asks Maxine to make their relationship official by putting her wedding ring back on! Lying and cheating may be out of character for the mild-mannered hairdresser, but Jimmy reminds us that Adam is Glenn’s son…
“Adam is getting better at lying to everyone around him,” points out the star. “There is part of him that is enjoying this way of life and the thrill of it all. And most importantly, he is enjoying finally having a proper relationship with his dad.”
Adam only got into his father’s business in the first place to gather evidence to help put Glenn away – so is the bloke starting to lose sight of what’s important? And could he end up joining his old man behind bars if he carries on down this dark path?
