Robert’s shock heart attack!
WILL MICHELLE UNCOVER HIS STEROID SECRET AS HE SUDDENLY COLLAPSES?
Poor Michelle is horrified this week, when fiancé Robert collapses in agony, and is rushed to hospital.
The gym-mad chef drops to the floor clutching his chest, and Michelle is distraught at the thought of losing the man she loves. What she doesn’t know is that troubled Robert has continued to use steroids – despite promising her that he’s put his addiction behind him. So with just days to go until they say their vows, big trouble is on the horizon.
“This could break them,” warns our insider. “Michelle stood by Robert after he admitted to using steroids, but he’s carried on lying to her – and this is no exception. She doesn’t get to see the results of the tests the doctors do at the hospital, and instead has to rely on what Robert tells her, but he says he’s just pushed himself too hard at the gym. Michelle trusts Robert – she’s going to marry him, after all – but her husband-to-be is hiding a terrible secret, and it could ruin their happiness.”
While the hospital drama is sobering for them both, Michelle doesn’t have much time to worry as son Ryan arrives home for the wedding. She’s delighted to have her boy by her side, and when Robert’s best man has to drop out, Ryan offers to step in. Michelle’s worried that with Ryan being home and taking on a major role at the wedding, it could harm the fragile relationship she’s trying to build with her other son, Ali. They’ve only just started to make progress, and Ryan’s return could shatter that. Ali has bigger things on his mind, though, as he’s seen Robert’s medical records and knows that he’s been lying.
“There’s no love lost between Ali and Ryan, but this situation with Robert is a big deal,” says our snitch. “Ali knows too much, and he has to decide if he’ll let Michelle walk down the aisle in ignorance, or if he should break patient-
doctor confidentiality. It weighs heavily on him, and he has no one to share this with – that’s until he has a drink and starts to confide in Steve!”
If Robert thought a stag do involving both Ali and Ryan would be awkward, he has more misery to endure as Michelle’s ex-husband arrives, too! At the party, Ali opens up to Steve about his stepdad-to-be’s drug use. Steve can’t believe it when Ali explains what has been going on, and that Michelle knows very little about the reality of the situation. While Steve has no room to talk when it comes to deceiving her, he’s deeply worried about Michelle’s future happiness if she goes into a marriage with Robert unaware of what she’s taking on.
Now Ali and Steve are faced with a decision: tell Michelle everything and risk her calling off the wedding, or keep quiet and let her remain in the dark. Will conflicted Steve take it upon himself to intervene?
