Former Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter

(Theresa Mcqueen) is set to make her stage debut in a UK tour of

Fame The Musical. “I am so excited to be playing Iris Kelly in Fame,” she gushes. “The musical is one of my favourite-ever films. I’ve not had a chance to perform ballet for a long time – it’s what I originally trained in, so I’m looking forward to getting my ballet shoes on.” The tour kicks off in Manchester in July.

SAM STRIKES AGAIN!

There’s not much chance of Sam Strike ever reprising his role as Walford’s Johnny Carter, as he’s gone into space – well, kind of! The star has joined the cast of SYFY’S Nightflyers, based on the novel of the same name by Game Of Thrones author George RR Martin. Sam plays Thale, a powerful telepath who detects a malevolent force lurking aboard The Nightflyer during an expedition to the edge of our solar system. The show is expected to debut in the autumn.
