Everybody hates Debbie!

HORRIFIED SARAH WANTS NOTHING TO DO WITH HER…

- Sarah Ellis

Debbie finds herself outcast from her family this week – when the Dingles find out that she was the one who ordered the assault that scarred Ross for life!

Debbie’s daughter Sarah is particularly disgusted with her mother’s behaviour, and Debs is heartbroken to hear that her girl is refusing to see her! So could Debbie be about to lose her kids because of what she’s done? And will Ross report her crimes to the police?

“At first, Ross thought he’d like to see Debbie behind bars – but thinking about Jack and Sarah, he might reconsider,” explains actor Michael Parr, who plays him. “In the wake of what’s happened, he’s got to let bygones be bygones and move on. He’s purely doing it for the kids at this point.”

Following the showdown at Home Farm, where Debbie was shot by unhinged Ross, the pair seem to be on an even keel. However, while Debbie stands to lose everything if the truth comes out, Ross doesn’t believe he’s in the same boat.

“Cain thinks it will be even from that point – ‘She threw acid in your face, you shot her, let it go!’” quips Michael. “But it’s deeper than that, as they have been lying to Ross for so long. Ross is in a dark place at this point – even though he has Moses, in his head he has got nothing left to lose any more.”

Debbie and Cain are on tenterhooks as they wait to see what Ross’ next move will be – however, they’re watching the wrong Barton brother! And while Ross self-destructs, it’s actually Pete who lets the cat out of the bag to the Dingles…

pub and accuses her of ruining Ross’ life! Chas bundles Debs into the back and demands to know what’s going on – which is when she’s forced to reveal the truth about the attack.

Both Chas and Sarah are horrified by what they hear – and although Faith later tries to facilitate a meeting between Debbie and Sarah, it’s clear that the youngster is in no forgiving mood. However, will Ross take any pleasure from the fact that Debbie’s life is now in ruins?

“Ross really doesn’t care what happens to Debbie at this point,” insists Michael. “This is the final nail in the coffin for him. I think he still loves Debbie – but he realises it’s never going to work, as she really is an evil bitch!”

So, with Debbie now public enemy number one with the Dingles, is there anything she can say to talk round Sarah?
