His shock new storyline revealed…
Coronation Street’s Antony Cotton recently teased that a huge plot was in the works for Sean – and by the looks of these new filming pictures, he wasn’t kidding!
Our sneaky snaps of the star shooting on location show Sean sleeping rough in a tent that he appears to be sharing with a homeless girl. And that’s not all, as further shots reveal that the poor fella is left bloodied and bruised after being the victim of a savage attack in a public toilet…
“I’ve begun filming the first part of a plot that is going to run for quite a while over the summer,” shares
Antony. “It’s a really unusual storyline, very serious and not what people would expect from Sean at all.
“I was taken aback when I first heard what it was,” adds the star, who has been playing Sean since 2003. “It’s a poignant story that is very close to my heart.”
With so many friends in Weatherfield, Sean is one of the last people we would expect to end up on the streets – but it certainly looks as though he’s heading that way. There are no details yet on how the former Underworld and Rovers employee – who is currently staying with Fiz – will end up in this situation.
It wouldn’t surprise us if he’s too proud to own up to his loved ones back on the cobbles – which would explain the stunned look on Shona’s face, when she stumbles across
Sean’s tent while walking David the dog.
