Truly, totally and irredeemably evil, Patrick James Phelan has proved to be a Corrie villain like no other. But as the gates of hell open to receive him, our readers are sad to see him go… I’m really going to miss Phelan! Yes, he’s a coldblooded killer, but he never bumped off anyone that we particularly cared about, did he? In fact, getting rid of boring old Michael Rodwell was practically a public service! I’d have liked him to stay a few more years yet, slowly whittling down the more boring end of the cast list!
