Leo stands up for Mishti

Neighbours star Tim Kano reckons Leo could be the next Paul Robinson…

- Sarah Ellis

Leo takes the law into his own hands this week, as he finds out that some creep has leaked a sex tape of his ex, Mishti! But as star Tim Kano, who plays Leo, explains, things don’t quite go to plan…

How does Leo feel when he discovers what Dilhan’s done?

Leo’s furious! It’s a horrible act, and a huge breach of trust and privacy. Worse still, he can’t believe that Dilhan is out on bail. That’s when the true Robinson mind kicks into play, and Leo starts to consider strategies to put Dilhan in his place.

What does he decide to do?

Leo hatches a plan to provoke Dilhan to attack him, so he will breach his bail conditions. Unfortunately the plan goes askew when Dilhan catches on to his ruse – and then they’re interrupted by Ned, who has returned to Erinsborough.

Does Leo still have strong feelings for Mishti?

He’ll always have feelings for her. He thinks there’s definitely a chance for them in the future, once she has overcome her insecurities with trust and is ready to move forward. There’s a nice balance between them, and they keep each other grounded. Would you like Leo to become as villainous as his dad, Paul? Absolutely! Deep down Leo really does idolise Paul, he likes how cunning and vindictive he is in the way he operates. But the big difference between Leo and Paul is that Leo has a conscience!

The Neighbours cast all seem really close at the moment…

We are – every weekend we’ll be going out for drinks or to the movies, or going on a road trip. We recently caught up with Felix [Mallard, who played Ben] and got to hear how well he’s doing in LA. It’s really exciting – and it’s nice to know there’s a little Neighbours community out there if I ever fancy making the move!
