Jenny has bad news for Johnny
“Initially, Eva was shocked when Toyah went back on their pact – but at the same time she was super-relieved, as she really wants to be a mum to Susie,” explains Cath. “She’s lost Aidan, and Susie looks so much like him, so Eva feels the need to be with her little girl constantly. Susie is the last reminder of the man that Eva loved.”
Following Johnny’s outburst, Eva finds herself opening up to her ex-boyfriend Adam about her secret pregnancy. And although it’s a massive shock to the system for him, Adam is surprisingly understanding about the whole situation.
“Eva does genuinely care about Adam,” admits Cath. “She doesn’t love him like she did with Aidan, but she has a huge soft spot for him, and he’s offering her a shoulder to cry on. At that moment, to have that support is just brilliant for her.”
Adam proves to be the ally Eva needs, as Johnny tells her he has spoken to a lawyer and launched custody proceedings – before demanding a DNA test to prove that Susie is actually Aidan’s child! Poor
Eva is distraught, but Adam has an underhand solution to her problem – and fakes a DNA test stating that he is Susie’s biological father, not Aidan! But is Eva desperate enough to go ahead with his cunning plan?
“Eva is completely shocked that Johnny has started custody proceedings, because when they first talk about things, he seems to react quite well,” reckons Catherine. “Eva truly believes that everything is going to be okay and he’ll be fair – however she’s unaware he is hiding this overwhleming anger towards her right now.
“Eva is a fighter, though, and she is ready to play hardball,” continues the star. “Eva is her mother’s daughter, and she can give as good as she gets, which really surprises Johnny. If it was me, nobody would ever take my child away – I would stop at nothing.”
The scene is set for an almighty showdown as both Eva and Johnny battle to bring up Susie. So will Eva go ahead with Adam’s crazy DNA plot? And could she live to regret her pact with Toyah if Johnny’s lawyers use it against her?
