Tina arrested... for killing Stuart?

AS VIOLENCE ERUPTS BETWEEN TERRIFIED TINA AND HER SHAMELESS ATTACKER, HAS SHE TAKEN THE ULTIMATE REVENGE?

- Allison Jones

Tina leaves Stuart for dead this week, when a horrific confrontation breaks out between the pair! Their violent altercation occurs after brazen Stuart corners Tina in the

Arches – where he refuses to admit to the despicable trauma he put her through as a youngster. But as Tina lashes out, and Stuart crumples to the floor, has she killed him?

“Tina is totally stunned and can’t believe what she’s done – she’s terrified!” gasps our Walford sneak. “Stuart’s taunting has pushed her to the very edge, and the red mist descends as she furiously launches herself at him. When he collapses, she’s in utter panic to realise he’s not moving – and runs from the scene. But is he really dead?”

Tina has been to hell and back since the return of Mick’s old friend – stirring long-buried memories of the ordeal she endured at Stuart’s hands, all those years ago. But Stuart’s twisted mind-games, implying that Tina has simply got the wrong man, have left her in bits.

“Stuart’s sinister power is such that he’d even managed to convince Mick that Tina was just confused about what really happened,” sighs our spy. “Thankfully, the Carters have since been left in no doubt whatsoever of Stuart’s cruel manipulation – and they are right behind Tina as she tries to come to terms with everything she’s been through. But still Stuart coldly refuses to admit any responsibility for his actions – and instead seems heartlessly obsessed with making Tina pay…”

“Tina can’t believe what she’s done – she’s terrified!”

Meanwhile, Mick can’t believe it when Tina insists that she has no interest in taking revenge on Stuart – but as his ex-mate continues to play the innocent party, Mick can barely control his rage. Seething Stuart is left in no doubt about where his childhood pal’s loyalty now lies, and refuses to take Mick’s betrayal lying down – and in typically cowardly fashion, he goes gunning for Tina.

“Is there no limit to just how low heartless Stuart can stoop?” spits our insider. “Poor Tina just wants to put the past behind her, while Stuart seems hell-bent on making her suffer. He just can’t stay away from Albert Square – claiming to bemused Kathy and Keanu that Tina has vandalised his car, and sullying her name to anyone who’ll listen – before tracking her down to insist that she tell everyone that he wasn’t the one who hurt her.

“Brave Tina stands her ground as she and Stuart go head to head in the launderette. However, when she rightly refuses to backtrack on the accusations she’s made, Stuart threatens to tell everyone how she wrecked his car!”

Of course, Tina has no idea what Stuart’s talking about, and when he later corners her again – in the Arches this time – Tina is at her wits’ end. And as he proceeds to goad her mercilessly about the fateful night he attacked her, all hell breaks loose…

“What a vile excuse for a man Stuart is,” rails our informant. “But Tina is having none of his threats – she knows what he did, and there’s no way she’ll pretend otherwise. He just can’t let it lie, though, and soon their heated exchange is getting out of hand. Tina wants Stuart gone – he’s ruined her life, and she tells him so. But what happens next is a complete shock to everyone!”

In the face of Stuart’s wrath,

Tina snaps into self-protection mode, and her fury knows no bounds. Blinded by rage, she goes for Stuart – although the last thing she’s expecting is that she could be strong enough to seriously hurt him. But as she’s later hauled out of the Vic by arresting officers, have all the years of pent-up pain Stuart put her through turned Tina into his killer?
