Eva leaves the Street!
SHOCKED LEANNE AND TOYAH READ HER FAREWELL LETTER…
Following the kidnap of her baby daughter Susie, Eva packs her bags and leaves Coronation Street this week, leaving Leanne and Toyah feeling shocked and heartbroken – as they discover her letter telling them that she’s gone and isn’t coming back!
“It’s been a particularly turbulent time for Eva in recent weeks,” sighs our
Coronation Street spy.
“She decides that a clean break might be in everyone’s best interests, including her own! But her exit still causes ripples across Weatherfield – and another person who’s stunned by her decision is her ex-boyfriend Adam.”
Shortly before she drops her bombshell, Eva meets with Adam, who offers her the chance to stay in a room in his flat. Although she is touched by his kind gesture, she turns him down – and explains how she intends to make a fresh start, away from Weatherfield.
“Understandably, Adam is absolutely heartbroken by this news,” explains our spy. “But it’s also mixed with anger. This whole situation with baby Susie has caused no end of upset, and now he’s faced with losing the one woman he truly cares about. He confides in Daniel about his emotions, and his uncle convinces him that if he feels that strongly about Eva, then he needs to follow his heart, and confront her before she departs.”
Eva decides that she can’t face any more tearful goodbyes, and so writes an apologetic note to Leanne and Toyah to explain why she’s leaving so abruptly.
But will Adam manage to catch up with Eva before she’s out of his life forever? Or is it too little, too late?
