Fiz comforts devastated Tyrone

Tyrone tries to build bridges with his estranged girlfriend Fiz this week – but his plans for a romantic evening are derailed when he learns the devastating news that his mum has died!
As the week begins, Tyrone feels optimistic that he can patch things up with Fiz, and he persuades his ex to join him for a romantic dinner, making it clear that he’d like things to work out between them. Fiz agrees to come on the date, but after there’s a knock at the door, Tyrone is surprised to find that it’s not his beloved standing there – it’s the police!
“This is the last thing Tyrone was expecting,” whispers our
Corrie insider. “When he sees the police officer, he’s initially confused, but then he gets a sinking feeling as he realises that it’s bad news. The copper gently breaks it to him that his mum Jackie is dead.”
After Fiz arrives, Tyrone soon breaks down in his ex-lover’s arms, as the reality of what’s happened begins to sink in.
Fiz does her best to console Tyrone, and while he begs her to stay, her heart melts when she sees the pain he’s in.
“Deep down, Fiz had been hoping to patch things up with her man anyway,” reckons our snitch. “But this news about Jackie has made all of their other problems seem trivial. Tyrone is the love of her life, and it’s time to come home.”
As Tyrone and Fiz reunite and look to the future, will this terrible shock help to make their relationship stronger?
