AN OLD FRIEND OF MICK’S BRINGS TINA THE EVIDENCE SHE SO DESPERATELY NEEDS…

-

As Tina looks for proof of Stuart’s cruel attack on her, she and Mick have a big breakthrough this week.

Ever since Tina worked out that Stuart must have been the man who tortured her more than 20 years ago, she’s tried to convince everyone of his true nature following her arrest for attacking him and leaving him for dead.

While Mick has been quick to take her side – and Linda is also in no doubt about Stuart’s poisonous nature – Halfway has found himself unable to accept that his older brother could be the terrible villain that Tina is making out.

“Halfway has always known Stuart is no angel, but he can’t bring himself to think this of him,” reckons our Eastenders spy. “Although he hates being torn, Halfway decides he can’t live under the Carters’ roof under these circumstances. When Whitney picks up on her fella’s distant behaviour, she heads to the Vic to learn what’s going on – and is stunned to be told that he has moved out! She’s furious with Halfway as she discovers he’s chosen to take Stuart’s word over Tina’s, and tears a strip off him!”

Meanwhile, the search for evidence of Stuart’s crimes continues, with Mick managing to track down one of their old friends, Dylan. Mick’s pal turns up at the Vic with the shocking revelation that Stuart once pulled exactly the same stunt on him as he did on Tina!

Dylan also tells them that he’s reported his ordeal to the police, which should help to corroborate Tina’s story.

“It’s circumstantial evidence, but it’s an important step in the right direction for exonerating Tina,” declares our sneak.

“She was stripped, gagged and bound, stuffed inside a car boot, and made to think she was going to die – while the pounding beat of D-mob’s We

Call It Acieed exacerbated her agony. The similarity of Dylan’s tale is remarkable, though will it convince the doubters?”
