Simone ogles topless Sylver!

HE HAS HER FEELING FLUSTERED…

- Sarah Ellis

Simone sees a new side to ex-con Sylver this week – when he whips off his top to help her out at Price Slice! It’s fair to say that Simone hasn’t been Sylver’s biggest fan since he was released from prison, and she even started a campaign to drive the convicted murderer out of the village. But judging from these pictures, we’d say she’s well and truly warming towards him…

“Simone was Sylver’s lawyer, and obviously things didn’t turn out well for him,” says Jacqueline Boatswain, who plays Simone. “She didn’t recognise him when he first came into the shop, though he was quite threatening – and that frightened her. Hollyoaks is Simone’s home, so she feels that it’s her duty as Councillor Loveday to do the best for her constituents, and make sure that Sylver isn’t having a bad influence in the village.”

So far, Simone’s campaign seems to be working, as Sylver is finding it difficult to gain employment in the area. Sylver was so furious with Simone for wrecking his job prospects that he smashed the window at Price Slice in retaliation – but since he’s now apologised and paid for the damages, Simone is beginning to rethink her opinion of him.

“Simone feels bad, because everyone deserves a second chance,” explains Jacqui. “So she gives Sylver a job in Price Slice. The freezer breaks down, and they end up having to eat an awful lot of ice cream! It’s a hot day, and Sylver is cleaning out the freezer – and it’s clear Simone just wants to make sure he gets right to the corners!”

It’s not the first time Simone has found herself getting all hot under the collar thanks to a village bad boy – let’s not forget she had a short-lived fling with Shane Sweeney before he went to jail. So might she be falling for Sylver in the same way?

“Simone’s not made of stone, despite other people’s image of her,” reckons Jacqui. “And Sylver is very easy on

the eye! At the moment she’s just thinking it will be a working relationship, but who knows? Simone is footloose and fancy-free – it’s time to take the ribbons from her hair, shake it loose and let it fall!”

And if Simone was to hook up with Sylver, Jacqui definitely wouldn’t be complaining…

“It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it!” she chuckles. “It wasn’t too bad filming these scenes! I thought, ‘Come on Jac, roll up your sleeves and get on with it’. It’s dirty work!”
