Joseph wants Brian as his nanny

LITTLE JOSEPH WANTS HIM TO BE HIS NANNY…

Brian is given serious food for thought about his future this week – after Joseph begs him to become his new childminder!

Just like Daniel and Sinead, Brian and his partner Cathy have grand plans to open their own shop in Weatherfield. They’d both love to be their own bosses, and with the local area lacking a decent hardware shop, they reckon they’d make a killing.

However, when Brian steps into the breach to look after Joseph while Chesney is at work, he discovers that hanging out with the youngster is a lot more exciting than he expected! The pair spend a fun-filled afternoon together building a fort in the backyard, protecting themselves from imaginary bad guys along the way…

In fact, little Joseph has so much fun with Brian that he pleads with him to ditch his plans for the new shop – and look after him full-time instead! The idea is a little left of field, admittedly, but it seems it’s something that Brian would actually quite like to spend his days doing.

Having made a promise to Cathy about their new business, though, Brian finds himself torn about what to do next. Broaching the subject with his beloved, Brian attempts to persuade Cathy that opening their own shop would be a risky venture, and he’s worried that it could end up costing them their life savings.

Will Cathy be persuaded by his valid argument? Or will Brian have to give up on his dream of becoming Joseph’s new ‘manny’?
