Sinead tells Daniel she’s pregnant
SINEAD HAS BIG NEWS FOR FIANCÉ DANIEL…
Daniel announces that he and Sinead are starting their own business this week – not realising that his fiancée is actually pregnant!
The pair find themselves in Alya’s bad books after Daniel accidentally unleashes a moth in Underworld, which promptly chomps its way through the knickers! As Alya lets rip at the couple, Daniel fires back that Sinead is quitting her job – but Sinead has a bombshell of her own…
“Daniel and Sinead are planning to start their own vintage clothes shop – though this baby changes everything,” explains our Coronation Street insider. “Launching a business is risky for them financially, and if Sinead does turn out to be pregnant, she’ll have to take time off work. This may not be the best time for her to be quitting a job that offers her paid maternity leave!”
It’s thanks to Sinead and Daniel’s new business venture that chaos ensues at the factory in the first place.
Having sourced some vintage dresses for their shop, Daniel takes them into the factory to show Sinead – but he is mortified when Kirk spots a moth flying out of the bag!
Daniel manages to make a swift exit before Alya works out what’s going on, and races home to put the dresses in the freezer in the hope of killing off the eggs. However, as he guiltily admits to Carla that he’s brought moths into the factory, we’re sure she’ll be rubbing her hands together in glee at all the carnage that he’s inadvertently caused!
All hell breaks loose after Alya hands over some samples to a client, only to find that they’re full of holes! It doesn’t take her long to work out what’s happened, and she points the finger straight at Daniel and Sinead – which is when Daniel drops his bombshell about the new business, and announces that Sinead is quitting.

admits that she thinks she’s pregnant, which could well change their ambitious plans…
“Sinead takes a test, which confirms that she is indeed expecting,” our source tells us. “Having already terminated one pregnancy, both Sinead and Daniel are delighted to be given a second chance at parenthood, and are thrilled by the news. However, Daniel quickly realises that Sinead needs her job at the factory now more than ever.”
But while the pair go grovelling to Alya with a heartfelt apology, will she take back Sinead – or has the mum-to-be burned her bridges at Underworld for good?
