There’s a shooting inside the Vic!

AS VENGEFUL STUART HEADS FOR A SHOWDOWN WITH THE CARTERS, WHO TAKES A BULLET?

-

Get ready for a hugely eventful week on Eastenders – when Stuart Highway’s ongoing feud with the Carters comes to a head in the most devastating way possible. There’s a shooting at the Queen Vic, and a police investigation gets under way to try to determine what happened. But whose life hangs in the balance, and who’s the person who fired the gun?

The astonishing drama kicks off as the Carters try to move on from recent events and get their lives back to normal. But ‘normal’ in Albert Square means that it’s only a matter of time before the next earth-shattering incident happens…

“After all their troubles with gangster Aidan Maguire earlier in the year, the Carters have really drawn the short straw by attracting an even bigger psychopath,” suggests our Walford insider. “And unlike Aidan, Stuart is truly unbalanced, and totally unpredictable! He’s certainly capable of anything – but even murder?”

The temporary peace and calm is demolished when Stuart calls the Vic, deliberately letting slip how his brother Halfway recently paid him a visit. Given everything that they now know about Stuart’s historical abuse of Tina – which caused them to cut all ties with Mick’s former best friend – the whole clan feels disgusted that Halfway could betray them by retaining contact. But Stuart soon has another bombshell for Mick, which sends him flying into a rage!

“Mick is fiercely protective of his family, and Stuart now represents a very real danger to them,” reckons our source.
