Debbie is left stunned this week, as Joe announces that they’re to marry in a matter of hours – but will he actually live to say, ‘I do’?
While smitten Joe is busy rushing together a top-secret wedding ceremony in the hospital chapel, he’s oblivious to the fact that Graham’s other boss – Kim Tate – has insisted that Joe be dealt with for good. Just how far is Graham willing to go in order to ensure that Joe disappears?
“When Kim Tate is calling the shots, it’s a brave man who disobeys her orders,” claims our Dales insider. “Graham is braver than most – so can he say no to Kim? After Graham collects her from jail, she’s outraged to discover Joe is on the verge of marrying a Dingle, and that Debbie could have a claim on his fortune once they’re man and wife.
“Her instruction to Graham is clear – yet could she be underestimating the power of Graham’s affection for the boy he’s watched grow up?”
Graham was appalled to find out that Joe had gone against his advice and forged Debbie’s signature on a pre-nuptial agreement. Well aware that this illegal move could leave Debbie in line for a major inheritance should anything happen to her husband-tobe, Kim now considers Joe a threat to her future plans. But it’s Graham who’s left to get his hands dirty…
“As Graham stands before Joe clutching a garotte, and reveals he knows about his wedding plans, Joe is understandably terrified,” shares our sneak. “It really does seem the end is nigh for Joe – though rather than killing him, Graham instead hands over a pile of cash and tells him to get as far away as possible!”
Meanwhile, Debbie and her daughter Sarah have changed into their wedding outfits and are awaiting Joe’s arrival at the chapel. When he fails to show, worried Debbie tries repeatedly to get hold of him – with no joy. So has Graham’s stark warning persuaded Joe to forsake his new family and leg it?
