Nick wants to win back Leanne
HE HAS A PROPOSAL FOR LEANNE…
Minted Nick goes all-out to show that he still loves Leanne this week – making her a huge offer…
Having realised what a mess he’s made by leaving everyone in the lurch, the repentant fella decides to throw money at the situation. He finds out from sister Sarah that Leanne, baby Oli, Simon and Toyah are living in a grubby flat because they can’t afford better. Spotting his chance to do some good, Nick puts down a deposit on an apartment in Victoria Court and covers the rent for three months. What will Leanne make of this grand gesture?
“Obviously, Leanne isn’t going to rush into his arms just because he’s paid to make amends,” whispers our Street snitch. “In fact, she’s quick to tell him they are only ever going to be friends, nothing more. Nick might be working overtime to get Leanne back, but he’s also busy trying to field off calls from a mysterious stranger. David notices that there are tons of missed calls on his brother’s phone from somebody called ‘E’, though Nick dismisses it. However, when Shona overhears him telling somebody that he’s been busy in Weatherfield looking after poorly Gail, she demands answers. A furious row ensues, and David walks in to discover them fighting

him sick that he wasn’t there to support David,” shares our insider. “What happened with Josh has changed David’s life, and Shona was there for him every step of the way. It’s hypocritical for Nick to give her grief when he was nowhere to be seen – so David puts Nick firmly in his place.”
Estranged from his brother and no closer to a reunion with Leanne, Nick’s left to wonder if he should return to Nottingham. But when Leanne suggests he should stick around and work through things with David, Nick sees a slither of hope. What will he tell ‘E’ about his plans?
