We’d barely recovered from the Chas and Paddy storyline in Emmerdale when Corrie plunged us into another heartbreaking health plot. But every reader who has written in is agreed on one fact… KATIE MCGLYNN IS AMAZING! I’m in awe of her performance in the episode where she was advised to terminate her pregancy. The way the camera stayed on Sinead’s face as she was hit by each new piece of terrible news was sooo upsetting but sooo incredible.

Talk about bad things happening to good people! Poor Sinead, to receive such terrible news. It was so well acted, I almost felt guilty for watching – like I was spying on someone else’s tragedy.

| Edward Do you know which other classic Corrie character Sinead really reminds me of? Raquel – played by the wonderful Sarah Lancashire. She has the same feeling of insecurity, like she’s not good enough, but also this incredible strength when the going gets tough. And I think Katie Mcglynn could end up as big a TV star as Sarah, too.
