It looks as if Mercedes’ wedding might be in jeopardy this week, as Goldie locks lips with the groom-to-be, Russ!
The kiss happens after a cake-tasting session at the
Dog for the upcoming wedding. Mercedes already appears to have an axe to grind with Goldie, and the two end up in a full-on cake fight! So what could Goldie have done?
“Who do you think starts the fight?” laughs Chelsee Healey, who plays Goldie. “Goldie never starts a fight – it’s always Mercedes!”
The pair are held back by Sylver and Russ, while Myra tries to reason with them – but both Mercedes and Goldie are smothered in icing, and they’re fuming! After the brawl, Russ ends up sitting with Goldie – he’s seriously doubting that the wedding will go ahead, and Goldie lends him a shoulder to cry on. The situation heats up when Goldie confesses that she wants him, and the two end up having a full-on snog!
“Goldie feels really guilty about it,” explains Chelsee. “Mercedes is her relative at the end of the day. But she kind of falls for Russ – she’s like a puppy. She has the biggest crush on him!”
So not only has Goldie now kissed Russ – twice! – but she previously also came on to Cleo’s former fiancé, Joel!
And that secret is safely locked away, for now…
“Goldie’s doing her rounds!” exclaims Chelsee. “I don’t like Goldie being a floozy. The Mcqueens would go absolutely mad if they found out. It wouldn’t surprise me if they disowned her! The Mcqueens stick together – they never do the dirty on their own family or betray each other. I don’t think they’d take it well.”
