Two of Steve Mcdonald’s ex-wives are to come together for the first time – for BBC One’s Gentleman Jack. Former Corrie stars Katherine Kelly (Becky) and Suranne Jones (Karen) have both been signed up for the historical drama, with Suranne in the lead role of Anne Lister. Katherine plays Elizabeth Sutherland, the sister of Anne’s intended wife Ann Walker. The eight-part series will air next year.

She’s currently Down Under, taking part in ITV’S I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, and ex-eastender Rita Simons (Roxy Mitchell) says she sought out some advice from her on-screen father Larry Lamb (Archie) before setting off on her adventure! “I’m excited about going into the jungle,” she says. “I know quite a lot of people who’ve done it, including Larry [who competed in 2016]. He’s like my dad, and he’s always advising me. He said he couldn’t advise me more to do it, as he had the best time ever!”
