The residents of Walford all have big appetites this festive season, though for a couple of characters, turkey sandwiches aren’t on the menu – revenge is! And it won’t just be the odd glass of prosecco spilt on the grounds of Albert Square, after someone ends up with blood on their hands. Is this Christmas set to be the last for at least one of the locals?
Mick’s vengeance!
The Carters will receive the greatest gift of all when jailed Mick is finally released from prison and reunited with his beloved Linda. But peace and goodwill to one man in particular couldn’t be further from Mick’s mind, as he plans to take his revenge on sadistic Stuart… “There is no way that Mick will let Stuart get away with what he has done to his family,” says our Eastenders insider. “But how far is he willing to go to get rid of this bloke? It looks as if the Vic’s landlord will be pushed to the limit.” Recent filming pictures reveal that a violent showdown is in the offing for the pair, with Mick appearing to kidnap Stuart. The men end up at what looks like a deserted industrial estate, where Stuart is bound and gagged – and at the mercy of Mick. Is Linda’s husband set to cross a line of no return?
Alfie’s secret baby!
There’s no such thing as a silent night for the Slaters at any time of the year – least of all Christmas! But an eerie hush will descend over No 31 when Kat discovers that Alfie is the father of Hayley’s baby!
“Put it this way, it might not just be Big Mo’s dodgy goose heading for the slaughter house this Yuletide,” winces our source. “Kat and Alfie have been to hell and back throughout the course of their relationship – but is his indiscretion with her cousin just one betrayal too far? Mel’s wedding hell!
It won’t be the first time that Square siren Mel has seen in the new year with a wedding – yet ex-husband Ian got off lightly compared with the drama she has in store for her cheating fiancé, Ray!
“Judging by recent sneaky snaps from filming, Mel plans to trick Ray into marrying her so that she can report him to the police for bigamy,” snitches our spy. “But whenever does a carefully laid revenge plan ever come to pass in Walford?”
As the bride-tobe puts the final pieces of her scheme into place, she comes to a disturbing realisation. So will Mel be in danger if Ray realises that she has doublecrossed him?
