Maya plants a kiss on pupil Jacob

Teacher Maya is horrified by her actions this week, after she plants a kiss on Jacob!
It’s not the first time that the pair have locked lips, given that Jacob made a move on his history tutor a couple of weeks ago. He totally misread the signals then – so what on earth is Maya thinking when she reciprocates his affections?
“Honestly, it’s an absolutely bonkers move on her part,” scolds our Dales insider. “On the surface, Maya seems really sweet and has no obvious agenda, but she knows full well that Jacob is smitten with her. Forget just for one second that this is her fella David’s son – Jacob is also one of Maya’s pupils!”
The situation spirals after Liv learns that Jacob has been lying about the nature of their relationship. As his feelings for Maya became more intense, Jacob pretended that he and Liv had slept together in a bid to get a reaction out of his dad’s girlfriend. So when Liv finds out what the lad has been saying, she’s mortified – and is forced to furiously deny Jacob’s claims to David and her brother, Aaron.
After Jacob’s fibs unravel, he has no choice but to admit his deceit before storming off. Meanwhile, Maya realises exactly what the problem is and offers to talk to Jacob. She asks him if he lied about Liv to make her jealous, and when Jacob struggles to meet her gaze, it dawns on Maya that she has hit the nail on the head with her theory.
However, rather than try to talk some sense into Jacob and deflect his affections, Maya tells him that she is flattered – and kisses him!

before Jacob gets carried away and their encounter is exposed. She takes Jacob aside and insists that no one must ever find out, or she’ll lose her job at the school.
Naturally, Jacob is conflicted by his emotions regarding Maya, and feels guilty when she tells David that she is moving out. With that, the lad confesses to Maya how awful he feels, and she agrees that David should know the truth. But will Maya really go through with telling her fella that she has snogged his son?
