Daz runs someone over in his car

WHILE DAZ CELEBRATES HIS SWANKY NEW JOB, HIS DAUGHTER IS DRIVING INTO DANGER…

- Allison Jones

Just when it looked as if Daz had turned his life around, disaster is set to strike this week – with both he and his daughter, Amelia, right in the thick of it!

Newly employed Daz is delighted to discover his job comes with a company car. But while he’s busy getting to know his boss Trish over a few too many drinks in the Woolpack, Amelia is landing herself in serious trouble in her dad’s fancy motor…

“After a traumatic few months, Daz has caught a break at last – but typically, his good fortune will prove short-lived,” shares our village spy. “As he’s socialising with his new boss, school bully Leanna drags Amelia on a joyride in Daz’s company car – bringing awful consequences for both Amelia and her dad!”

At the start of the week, it seems as though Leanna’s despicable behaviour knows no bounds when Noah and Amelia are roped into setting free a load of animals from the vets’. Elsewhere, Daz is busy celebrating his career success – so when Noah later joins Leanna in breaking into Dale Head to nick his new car keys, he’s totally oblivious.

“Amelia attempts to stop Leanna,” reveals our sneak. “But she lures the naive young girl into Daz’s new car anyway. While filming their escapade on her phone, Leanna makes it look as if Amelia is one of the gang – and as Amelia begs her tormentor to stop, the car swerves off the road.”

Fortunately, none of the kids are left seriously hurt – and the trio are quick to flee the scene, unaware that they’ve left Noah’s phone behind. The car remains unnoticed until later that evening, after drunk Daz stumbles across it, having been chucked out of a cab by Trish…

“When Trish invites Daz back to hers to sign some paperwork, he assumes that she’s implying something saucier,” tuts our insider. “Determined not to muck up his job, he bravely asserts he won’t be Trish’s plaything. But Trish is married, and wants nothing of the sort! He’s been ejected from the cab by the time he finds his new car abandoned, and can’t resist climbing inside.”

After passing out,

to drive the car home, despite being well over the limit. He’s nearly back when Noah’s phone rings and distracts him – and in the moment, Daz knows that he’s hit something. He’s horrified to realise that he’s run someone over, but rather than check they’re okay, he legs it. Is he leaving his victim to die?
