Sylver fights Liam – and is shot!
LIAM’S DODGY DEALINGS HAVE DANGEROUS CONSEQUENCES…
There’s bloodshed in the battle for Mercedes this week, as a fight breaks out between love rivals Liam and Sylver – and a shot is fired!
It’s Sylver who takes the bullet in the tussle, which kicks off after the furious fella learns that Liam has brought a gun into the flat above the Dog. But as he lies bleeding in Mercedes’ arms, is he about to the pay the ultimate price for trying to protect her from Liam? “I can’t give too much away, but Sylver’s in a bad way,” reveals David Tag, who plays the Mcqueen hunk. “He goes to confront Liam about the gun, and basically says to him,
‘There are children in the house, what are you doing?’ It turns into a bit of a scrap, and that’s when the gun goes off.”
It’s fair to say that Liam isn’t Sylver’s favourite person, after he lured vulnerable Mercedes into a world of partying and drugs. Sylver’s gutted he’s been ditched for the bad boy – but when he finds out that Mercy’s kids, Max and Bobby, are too scared to go home in case Liam is there, it’s the final straw.
“Sylver’s not even thinking about what’s going on between Mercedes and Liam – the boys are his top priority,” David tells us. “He just wants to make sure they’re safe. Sylver walks into the flat to get their homework, and it’s as he’s walking back out that he sees Liam has a gun – and confronts him.”

shady associates he has. But Sylver is in the firing line when the gun goes off – and even while he’s fighting for his life, Sylver’s still putting Mercedes first as he tells her not to call the paramedics.
“Sylver’s concerned Liam will turn on Mercedes if the authorities become involved,” David tells us. “He thinks Liam will try to blackmail her over the drugs, and that she’ll get in trouble with the police. From his point of view, it’s better for the whole family if the powers that be are just kept out of it – it’s him being chivalrous.”
So, with no ambulance on the way, can Mercedes get Sylver the medical help he needs? However this ends, David says he’s had a blast filming Sylver’s on-screen rivalry with Liam…
“There’s quite a big size difference between the two of us – I’m 6ft 4in!” he chuckles. “In real life, I’m sure that I would just flatten him. Liam’s like one of those little terriers that will put up a fight with any dog, no matter what their size.
But it’s good to have a bit of a tussle on screen, I quite enjoy filming those scenes!”
