Corrie stab horror when killer Clayton targets his mum…
It looks as though history is going to repeat itself for poor David in the cruellest of ways, when killer Clayton Hibbs strikes once again – this time seemingly stabbing his own mother, Shona!
David witnessed his wife Kylie die in his arms after Clayton ended her life so brutally – but will he now end up losing his girlfriend Shona in the same way?
“These harrowing snaps of the
Corrie cast filming on location speak for themselves,” notes our cobbles spy. “Following what looks like a stand-off between Clayton and armed police, Shona can be seen covered in blood as David cradles her on the ground. It’s his worst nightmare, back to haunt him.”
Inside Soap recently brought you news of Clayton’s graveside getaway – which will see the wicked jailbird attempt to make his escape from prison by doing a runner from his father Dane’s funeral. From the look of our pictures, he’ll finish up being surrounded by cops while holding his own mother at knife-point – with terrified Shona attempting to reason with the trained marksman, who may be left with no choice but to shoot her son.
However, regardless of what might become of nasty Clayton, it’s Shona who’ll pay a hefty price – after she’s caught in the crossfire.
“David can be seen tearing his hair out on the other side of a police cordon, before eventually breaking through and rushing to Shona’s aid,” reports our mole. “If he’s forced to watch another woman he loves die, it’s fair to assume that David will never recover.”
Despite the dark plot, stars Jack P Shepherd (aka David), Julia Goulding (who plays Shona) and Callum Harrison (Clayton) managed to keep the mood light in between filming, having a giggle while the crew prepared for each take. Their hard work can be seen in the actionpacked episodes set to hit our screens this spring.
