United we stand From day one, the Mitchell sisters were inseparable, with more sensible Ronnie looking out for wild child Roxy. Even when Roxy had a baby with Ronnie’s fella Jack, the older sister couldn’t turn her back. And after Roxy’s scary boyfriend Carl tried to rape her, Ronnie literally crushed him!

Sibling rivalry There was one person able to divide Ronnie and Roxy – their evil father, Archie. When Ronnie spoke out about his history of sexually abusing her, Roxy wouldn’t have it, and that hurt deeply. Roxy’s drug addiction saw daughter Amy taken into the care of dad Jack and wife Ronnie, leaving her feeling miserable.

Together forever? Yes – buried in a bunkbed grave! Ronnie and Roxy were so close that they even died together. Their tragic end – drowned in a swimming pool – is possibly the worst story decision in soap history.
