United we stand Neither Cindy nor Mandy were pleased when their parents – Cindy’s dad Gordon and Mandy’s mum Helen – decided to get married, making the two of them stepsisters. However, after Gordon and Helen were killed in a car crash, they were forced to step up and help take care of their little brother Tom.

Sibling rivalry These two have certainly had plenty of reason to fall out over the years – usually it’s about men! They’ve both been married to Tony at some point, and they’ve both been romantically involved with Darren. Mandy also once tried to scam Cindy out of a load of money she inherited from her late husband, Alistair!

Together forever? Since Mandy’s recent return to the village, the pair have formed a closer bond – and Cindy is currently supporting pregnant Mandy as she deals with her baby having spina bifida.
