THE EX FILES! KACEY’S FAMILY
Your update on the one-time stars of soap...
Former Eastenders actress Kacey Ainsworth (Little Mo Slater) has explained why she gave up acting for seven years after discovering that her son Elwood was autistic. The star revealed how she hadn’t suspected that her lad had the condition until he was three years old. “I was really shocked,” she told The Mirror. “He went to our local communication disorder clinic and I watched my child being assessed by an educational psychologist, speech therapist and a child psychologist. It was excruciating.” Kacey, who is currently starring in ITV drama Grantchester, sought advice from Anna Kennedy Online and Add-vance, and is now an ambassador for both charities.
THE THOMAS TRIO!
Former Love Island celeb Scott Thomas has revealed he and his brothers – ex-emmerdale star Adam and former Corrie actor Ryan – are hoping to do a reality series together. “It’ll be us three, interacting as brothers, showing what we’re about!” he says.
“It’s just in the early stages and talks at the moment.” The Osbournes, eat your heart out!
JACQUELINE’S IN THE FORCE!
She was a lawyer as Hollyoaks’ Simone Loveday, but Jacqueline Boatswain – who left the soap last month after four years – is moving to the police force. She’ll star opposite Sarah Parish in series two of detective drama Bancroft, as high-powered Chief Constable Frances Holland. The new series sees Bancroft’s professional and personal life come crashing down when son Joe is implicated in a double murder.
