Stay away… or else!
TRACY ORDERS TYLER TO KEEP HIS DISTANCE FROM HER PREGNANT DAUGHTER…
Tracy is determined to protect her daughter this week, and issues a warning to Tyler, the father of Amy’s unborn child.
Furious that Tyler has got himself a job at the Bistro, and is now claiming that he wants to be involved in his baby’s life, Tracy panics that he’ll scupper her and Steve’s plans to adopt the child themselves. So how far will she go to convince Tyler he really should back off?
“Tracy is so angry with Tyler for what he has done to Amy,” admits Kate Ford, who plays Tracy. “Despite the fact that Amy claims what happened between the two of them was consensual, Tracy believes her daughter is still a child, and that Tyler took advantage. As a family, they’ve been trying to work through the situation – but with Tyler’s mum Vicky putting them under pressure, and Tyler working round the corner, it’s the final straw for Tracy…”
Tracy is absolutely furious when Tyler’s new boss Robert refuses to fire him from his role at the Bistro, which forces her to make an expensive move in ‘persuading’ Tyler to clear off.
“Robert employing this lad really feeds Tracy’s anger,” sighs Kate. “Tracy just can’t believe that he’s prepared to keep him on. She’s desperate at this point, so finishes up offering Tyler £5,000 to stay away from Amy and the baby.”
Shoving Tyler against a wall while concerned Steve and Amy look on, Tracy makes no bones about just how serious her offer is. But the stunned lad has no time to respond as Robert calls him back into work – and Tracy’s at her wits’ end.
“She’s had enough of Tyler’s smug attitude, and he really pushes her buttons,” shares Kate. “Steve’s keen to listen to Amy’s point of view and play the long game as far as Tyler is concerned, although if Tyler refuses the cash she’s offering him, Tracy must resort to more desperate measures.”
Convinced that there’s no time to waste, Tracy does indeed go to extreme lengths

to get Tyler out of the picture. But while she waits to learn if her drastic action will have the intended result, Amy is horrified by her mother’s behaviour.
“Amy’s furious – but Tracy and Steve are so wrapped up in doing what they reckon is best, at times they lose sight of how she’s feeling,” considers turns on her heel and seeks out pal Bethany. So is it time for Tracy to tone down her treatment of Tyler, and focus on Amy, before her daughter shuts her out altogether?
“Tracy’s gutted by how the rows are upsetting Amy, but she can’t hold back,” claims Kate. “Steve thinks Tracy is being irresponsible by not listening to Amy, and that she’s pushing their daughter away. But in trying to do the right thing, Tracy isn’t listening to Amy. So the worry is that she’ll end up resenting her parents…”
