Mick & Linda prepare for their trip
MICK AND LINDA GET SET FOR NANCY AND TAMWAR’S WEDDING…
Following the news that their daughter Nancy is getting married to Tamwar Masood, proud parents Mick and Linda start to make their own preparations – and as you can see from our photos, they’re dressing to impress!
“Both Mick and Linda were over the moon to hear that their little girl is getting hitched,” beams our Walford insider. “They’re really fond of Tamwar too, so they couldn’t be happier! Mick has always feared that Nancy would make the wrong choice – you’ll remember how badly he reacted when she was all set to marry that total loser, Wayne, five years ago. But this time, Mick is absolutely delighted that he’s going to have a new son-in-law.”
Mick and Linda don’t have much time to waste, however, as they find out that the date for the wedding is little more than a week away. After booking their plane tickets to Australia, where the nuptials are taking place, Linda is concerned at leaving the Vic in Shirley’s care while they’re on the other side of the world…
“Linda’s a terrible worrier, so Mick tries to reassure her,” says our spy. “And Shirley doesn’t help matters, always winding Linda up! Mick orders the pair of them to call a truce. The last thing he needs is to deal with the family bickering at this special time.”
With Linda pacified – at least for now – Shirley drops a mischievous hint to Mick that he ought to consider wearing a traditional cultural outfit to the wedding, knowing that Linda will overhear, and put some pressure on her hubby to go the extra mile for the happy day. And sure enough, once the thought has lodged in her mind, Linda completely falls in love with the idea!
