Chas offers help to Aaron & Robert

CHAS LENDS A HELPING HAND TO HER SON’S SURROGACY PLAN…

- Kate White

Aaron and Robert’s dream of having a baby of their own takes a blow this week, yet could a kind word get them back on track?

Disappointed Aaron has all but given up on the idea of having a child, thanks to Robert’s failed scheme to defraud Home Farm, and the ruin of King & Sons. Already short of the money to fund a surrogacy, there’s a further setback when Robert fails to secure a lucrative haulage contract. However, just as Aaron believes that all hope is lost, his brave mum Chas and Paddy come to the rescue.

Chas is delighted after Aaron and Robert explain that they want to have a baby together, with the help of a surrogate mother, and makes her feelings clear.

“Aaron’s mum is so happy that the devoted couple might be able to add to the brood, mainly as they are doing such a great job of bringing up Liv and baby Seb,” says our Dales insider. “She knows that, although Aaron adores Seb, he’s secretly desperate to have a baby of his own with Rob. Despite the heartbreak she and Paddy have recently been through with the death of baby Grace, Chas believes it’s worth the risk to have a child.”

So, when the pair reveal their efforts to raise the money have been in vain, Chas isn’t having any of their negativity. Taking Aaron aside, she tells him that he’s got to go for it, no matter what it takes. And while it means the world to Aaron to have Chas’ backing, it’s her pep talk about not giving up that really helps.

Though chancer Robert has remained optimistic about their chances of finding the cash, Aaron has been losing faith.

But, with his mother’s words ringing in his ears, the determined fella decides to go for it. How far are Robert and Aaron prepared to go to get the baby they want so badly?
