“All this has been going on right under Whitney’s nose and she had no idea!” splutters our Walford insider. “Tiff is spiralling into this world of drugs, and is utterly under the thumb of wicked Evie. Keegan’s problems might be bad, but nobody realises just how deep this goes for Tiff too. She needs help – fast.”
It’s Mitch’s daughter Bailey who finally blows Tiff’s dealer secret, when she tells Karen about the source of the drugs. So far, Keegan has been covering for Tiff, but with the truth revealed, livid Karen marches to the Vic to have it out with Whitney, who is young Tiff’s guardian. When confronted, Tiff denies everything, but Whitney is forced to re-evaluate once she finds the police waiting on their doorstep. It’s clear that Whit is faced with a very tricky task – trying to get her sister to open up and be honest.
“All these lies, and Evie’s manipulation, have backed Tiffany into a corner, and she doesn’t know how to get out,” explains our snitch. “If Whit had known the shocking extent of what’s been going on, she’d have been horrified. Tiff hasn’t just been lying to her family – she’s been lying to herself. And now, by confessing
what’s happened, she’ll have to deal with the shame of it, and admit to herself how far she’s fallen. It just seems impossible.”
Feeling isolated and vulnerable, Tiffany seeks solace with Evie, who cruelly convinces Tiff that her family doesn’t love her. The girls have an all-night party, and when Tiffany returns home, a storm breaks. Furious Whitney can’t believe that Tiff could be so stupid and reckless, so she tells her to pack her bags and go back to Bianca in Milton Keynes. Whitney’s decision is validated when Tiffany’s school calls to say she’s been bunking off too. But as Whit waves her little sis goodbye, can Tiff finally get the help she needs?
