With Stacey and Martin still on the run following Stacey’s brutal attack on Phil, Jean is really feeling the pressure of trying to keep her daughter’s awful secret under wraps. So when things at home get too much, Jean turns to Daniel for comfort – and he ends up taking her on a thrilling ride…

It’s not just the issue of having to lie about Stacey’s whereabouts that’s getting Jean down – she’s also feeling more isolated than ever, and she’s missing her grandkids Lily and Hope dearly. Of course, Kat is doing her best to lift Jean’s spirits, but with her own three children, plus Cherry and Arthur to look after, she’s got her hands full – not to mention being preoccupied with hunky lover Kush now that he’s moved in.
What Jean needs right now is a supportive friend who will allow her to talk through all her worries – so when she meets up with Daniel, and he lets her speak frankly about everything she has going on in her life, Jean’s very grateful indeed.
